I had a variety of experiences growing up. I started out in the Los Angeles, California area then moved to rural Oklahoma where my parents were house parents at Cookson Hills Christian Children’s home. We then moved to the Caney, Kansas area where I graduated from high school (Go Bullpups!).
My wife, Sandy, and I met while we were both students at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri. Sandy and I have been married since 1984. Sandy has been heavily involved in Christian education and has been a part of starting three different Christian schools in Oklahoma.
We have six amazing kids! Our oldest daughter recently got married and is living in NYC with her husband who is helping with a new church plant in Manhattan. We have another daughter about to finish college, and then one in 9th grade. Our oldest son is in 7th grade and our two youngest are in 2nd and 1st grade. So, we keep pretty busy keeping up with all our kids.
We moved to Broken Arrow from Stillwater back in March of 2002. We love Broken Arrow and we love the ministry of Northside Christian Church! Not only am I an Elder but I also serve as the Senior Minister at NCC. I also lead one of our Connection groups.
When I’m not working with the church or spending time with my family I try to play a little golf.
My favorite scripture is I Corinthians 9:27 “No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.”

I was born in Lawton, OK and named after Mount Scott which is actually just a big hill in Medicine Park. When my father retired from the Army we moved to the Lubbock, TX area for the remainder of my youth. I then attended South Plains College.
My wife Da'Laine and I met while in college and have been happily married for over 14 years. Da'Laine works for the Broken Arrow LaPetite Academy as a Pre-School Teacher and volunteers as a co-teacher for Northside's Kindergarten Sunday class. We have a lovely daughter, Sarah, who currently attends Mingo Valley Christian School and enjoys playing soccer.
My career, after serving four years as a Personnel Administrator in the Army, has been in the commercial fire protection industry. I am currently General Manager of FireCo of Oklahoma and office here in Broken Arrow.
In my spare time I enjoy golf when possible, camping and family activities. My current areas of serving in the church include co-teaching the 5th and 6th grade Sunday class and leading a Connection Group.
My favorite Scripture is 2 Peter 1:3 "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness."

I was born in Tulsa, OK and have lived in Denver, CO, South Bend, Indiana, and back to the Sooner State “Cowboy Nation” of Oklahoma…Go Pokes! I graduated from Broken Arrow, attended Oklahoma State University, graduating with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
I have been married to, and continue to date, my wonderful wife Kim of 24 years. Kim is the Preschool Director for Northside and Lord’s Little Army Preschool. Kim and I have two children, Morgan (21) and Adam (17). I am employed by Waste Management, and currently serve as the Area Director of Sales for Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
In my spare time, I relax in the company of family and friends, especially around our pool. I also enjoy attending and watching Oklahoma State sports and Dallas Cowboys football. I watch very little TV, and love reality in REAL LIFE, not the Hollywood versions…of any kind! I like “efforting” at golf, which is more of a workout than hobby for me. Occasionally I will undertake a home improvement project, but Kim is thankful my focus recently is fine-tuning my outdoor grilling/smoking skills. Please call for dinner reservations anytime
I have attended Northside for over 30 years, and currently serve as Elder and Treasurer, co-teacher in our Sunday morning “Experience” class and belong to a Connection Group.
A Scripture I rely heavily on, and call my “compass verse” is Philippians 3:16 (in context): “12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. 15 All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained.”
