What is a Connection Group? A Connection Group is a place where people "do life" together. It is a place where needs are met (emotional, physical, spiritual). It is a place where some of the deepest of human relationships can be formed, and where believers can act as the family of God. It is a group focuses on four main areas: loving each other, learning about God and His Word, serving the church and community, and reaching out to those outside the church. Connection Groups are "living," in that they focus on growth until it is time to "birth" a new group, all for the purpose of reaching others. They provide a more personal setting where people can be challenged to live out their faith and feel comfortable asking life's most difficult questions. Our Connection Groups meet on different evenings throughout the week. This allows people to gather in a comfortable setting in order to promote deep relationships. If you have children, note that most Connection Groups welcome children to come and play while the adults meet. Others hire a sitter for each session. However, childcare is determined by each group.
